Lady Gaga bares her soul in a series of emotional snippets form her upcoming Netflix documentary, Gaga: Five Foot Two, discussing everything from her infamous feud with Madonna through to her loneliness and health woes. The singer leaves no stone unturned in the footage, even breaking down in tears of misery at one point because she’s got nobody to go home to.
“I’m alone Brandon, every night,” sobs the star, who split with fiancee Taylor Kinney last year.
“And all these people will leave, and then I’ll be alone. And I go from everyone touching me all day, and talking at me all day, to total silence.”
In another scene which the 31-year-old shared on social media, she discusses the truth behind her widely reported feud with Madonna.
“The thing with, like, me and Madonna, for example, is that I admired her always. And I still admire her no matter what she may think of me,” she insists, while her friends laugh in the background.
But for now she’s keeping her cards close to her chest, teasing, “The only thing that really bothers me about her is…” before the clip cuts off. She is also shown lying on an examination table looking ashen-faced in a medical gown as a doctor talks her through the treatment plan for a mystery illness.
“Phase 1, let’s try to get you out of this intense pain that’s in your face where you feel like you are running from a tiger all the time,” says the doctor.
“Phase 2, let’s try to get the muscles to reeducate, phase 3 we do the blood spinning to try and cause regeneration.”
Not much more is known about the documentary yet, although Netflix says: “it goes behind the scenes with pop provocateur Lady Gaga as she releases a bold new album and prepares for her Super Bowl halftime show.”
Even Gaga reckons she doesn’t know what’s in it!
“I have seen a few short clips of the documentary but I decided not to watch it all the way through, or most of it for that matter, because I can’t be objective about myself, so you’ll see it before I do,” she told her Instagram followers.
