Brad Pitt’s cars have been spotted parked on the driveway of Angelina Jolie’s mansion – fuelling rumours the pair are trying to save their marriage.
Brad’s prized black electric Tesla Model S, which he bought in 2014, was last week parked at the home of the actress.
A source told The Sun Online another one of his cars – a grey sports Tesla – was seen parked at Brad’s home in January but now remains on Angelina’s driveway.
The 42-year-old actress splashed out £19million on the mansion back in April, six months after filing for divorce.
Angelina’s new home is conveniently located just half a mile away from the old family pad in Los Feliz, Los Angeles, where Brad, 54, lives.
The new images come after the couple’s biographer Ian Halperin told The Mail on Sunday that the couple reconciled after meeting at a friend’s home in Hollywood:
Following a report by their biographer that they are secretly working on their marriage,Hollywood star Angelina Jolie has opened up on her split with Brad Pitt ,saying she’s had a “difficult” time .
While promoting her new film ,First They Killed My Father, she told the Telegraph:
“It’s been difficult. I don’t enjoy being single. It’s not something I wanted. There’s nothing nice about it. It’s just hard.”
In another interview with Australia’s Sydney Morning Herald, she said she had spent much of the last year “just taking care of my children”.
“I can’t pretend this isn’t a tough time in my life,” she added.
“But I’m trying to get through it by just moving forward and knowing it’s part of being human.
“Maybe sometimes it appears I am pulling it all together, but really in fact I am just trying to get through my days.
“I will eventually balance more and do more work, but because of family issues it’s been extremely tough.”
Jennifer Aniston ’s heartbreak was felt around the world when Brad Pitt decided dumped her for Angelina Jolie.
But after Angelina filed for divorce, taking their six kids with her, Brad’s reportedly been doing some long, hard thinking and reached out and say sorry to Jen,for the way he behaved.
According to In Touch magazine..
“He’s been determined to apologise for everything he put her through, and that’s exactly what he did,” a source tells the magazine.
“It was the most intimate conversation Brad and Jen have ever had.”
His words brought back sad memories for Jen who famously said in 2005, when a Vanity Fair interviewer asked her about Angelina’s then-rumoured pregnancy with her’s and Brad’s first born, Shiloh, she cried silently for several minutes and was unable to answer.
“I have to think there’s some reason I have called this into my life,” she said of their separation. “I have to believe that—otherwise it’s just cruel.”
So when Brad, reportedly made his apologies, the source says it brought back a lot of that old hurt.
“Jen was overcome with emotion. All the hurt feelings and resentment she’d suppressed for years came flooding to the surface, and she broke down in tears.””
Brad is also said to have admitted that perhaps he wasn’t always the best partner.
“He apologized to Jen for being an absentee husband, for being stoned and bored much of the time. He also made amends for leaving her Angelina,” the source added.
Now married to Justin Theroux, according to the report Jen accepted Brad’s apology, although she “still resents Angelina.”
There were claims last week that Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt had called off their divorce after splitting in September 2016.
Sources quickly told DailyMail.com that was not true, and on Tuesday TMZ insisted that the actors are ‘deep’ in divorce negotiations.
It was added that the 42-year-old Oscar winner and the 53-year-old Allied star will never get back together after allegations of abuse over one of their six kids – Maddox, 15; Pax, 13; Shiloh, 11; Zahara, 12; and twins Vivienne and Knox, nine – were made public.
‘Both sides are hashing out both child custody and property settlements, and the divorce is full steam ahead,’ a source told the site.
And a reunion is not going to happen because ‘Angelina made extremely damaging allegations against Brad, claiming he was abusive to their kids,’ added the insider.
In September 2016, there was an alleged ‘altercation’ that involved Brad and Maddox aboard a private jet that was heading from Nice, France to Los Angeles, California; after they landed, Angelina ‘kicked him out,’ according to Vanity Fair.
Brad has since been cleared of any wrongdoing, but that was only after the FBI and DCFS were involved.
They have not been photographed together in a year.
Last week Us Weekly claimed the former power couple have not moved forward with proceedings to end their marriage.
A new report by Us Weekly sees multiple sources claiming the former power couple, who had a very public and very bitter split in September 2016, have not moved forward with proceedings to end their marriage.
One insider told the publication: ‘The divorce is off. They haven’t done anything to move it forward in several months and no one thinks they are ever going to.’
The reason given for the stalling of legal proceedings is Brad coming clean about his boozing in an interview with GQ this past May.
A friend of Jolie, 42, told Us Weekly that the commitment to self-improvement has struck a chord with the actress, who reportedly previously claimed she would consider taking Brad back ‘if he showed he was committed to raising a family’.
The source went on to add that Brad had ‘got sober to try and win her back’ and that the move to quit drinking was ‘all she ever wanted’.
Meanwhile, the insider claims: ‘Everyone thinks they are going to get back together.
She separated from husband Brad Pitt last September. And 10 months later, Angelina Jolie has addressed the split in a in-depth interview for the September issue of Vanity Fair, on newsstands August 4.
The 42-year-old revealed that ‘things got bad’ between the two by summer of 2016, adding that ‘It’s just been the hardest time, and we’re just kind of coming up for air.’
They have six kids together: Maddox, 15; Pax, 13; Shiloh, 11; Zahara, 12; and twins Vivienne and Knox, nine.
After the filing, she took the kids and stayed in a rental until purchasing a $25 million mansion in Los Feliz, California; she moved in just four days before the Vanity Fair interview.
The Lara Croft: Tomb Raider star said the new house is ‘a big jump forward for us, and we’re all trying to do our best to heal as a family.’
On the time with her kids after the split, Angelina says she’s been trying to ‘be really good at just being a homemaker and picking up dog poop and cleaning dishes and reading bedtime stories.’
