It was a show of shame at a high school graduation in Tennessee U.S. as two separate fights broke out between parents who came to witness their children’s graduation from Arlington High School near Memphis.
Graduating seniors were walking in their caps and gowns on Tuesday at Bellevue Baptist Church when the first scene between two women appeared to start lunging and hitting each other as several others attempt to restrain them.
One of the videos, posted to Instagram, was taken by Kasidy Landry, who was there to watch her sister, Tayler Landry, graduate.
It was unclear what prompted the fight but some said the brawl was caused by a row between the two women over a reserved seat.
According to ABC news, several Bellevue security officers had to step in to calm things down. The second fight saw an older man filming the graduates as they walk into the room. He then shoves a woman wearing a brown dress after she appears to hit him with the graduation program.
In a statement, Arlington County Community Schools Chief of Staff Jeffery Mayo said it was “unfortunate that a couple of adults in the audience exhibited the behaviour they did” and “caused a distraction” from celebrating the departing class.
“It is our hope that the focus will shift to our students and their accomplishments instead of the poor decisions by adults in attendance.”

A man, who appeared intoxicated, drove his car the wrong way up a street and along a pavement in New York’s Times Square on Thursday, leaving at least one person dead and more than 20 people injured.
The incident initially sparked terror fears and police had the square locked down within minutes. Authorities were quick to reassure the public, at one of the busiest tourist spots in the world, that the incident was a car crash and not terror-related.
An 18-year-old girl, named as Alyssa Elsman from Michigan, was killed in the horrific crash. Her 13-year-old sister was among the injured.
The suspect was named at Richard Rojas, a 26-year-old Navy veteran from the Bronx. He reportedly told police: “You were supposed to shoot me! I wanted to kill them.”
He was charged with one count of murder in the second-degree, aggravated vehicular homicide and multiple counts of attempted murder, a New York police spokesman said late on Thursday.
Mr Rojas was expected to appear in court on Friday at an arraignment hearing.
Rojas had previously been arrested twice for drunken driving, in 2008 and 2015, and once this month on a charge of menacing for threatening another man with a knife, police said.
He reportedly told police after being apprehended that he had been smoking marijuana.

Bobby Brown was purportedly reconnected with late ex-wife Whitney Houston and deceased daughter Bobbi Kristina on Wednesday’s episode of Hollywood Medium.
The 48-year-old singer appeared on the E! show for a session with celebrity clairvoyant medium Tyler Henry, 21.
Brown said he was in a ‘therapeutic time’ in his life as he met Henry who claimed to know nothing about the singer.
Henry first got in touch with Brown’s construction worker father Herbert who died in December.
The ‘medical intuitive’ noted that he died of cancer after smoking and stopping and was the ‘center of attention’ in the afterlife.
Brown confirmed his father quit smoking ‘for 30 years’ and was a ‘talkative type of guy’.
Henry then appeared to be making contact with Houston, who died in February 2012 after accidentally drowning in a hotel bathtub.
‘Her heart. Very clear. No matter how I died, I need them to know my heart,’ said Henry as he claimed to relay a message from Houston.
‘Oh boy. She used drugs but the way she passed is not a way that I can accept,’ Brown said.
Henry then said that Houston was relaying from beyond the grave the circumstances of her death,
‘Heart is fundamentally what she perceives as the catalyst,’ he told Brown.
He added that Houston was ‘selective’ and ‘not giving me a ton’.
Henry then told Brown that his famous ex-wife helped their daughter Bobbi Kristina ‘transition’ when she died aged 22 in July 2015 after being found unresponsive in a bathtub.
‘I was there to hold her hand when she made her transition,’ Henry told the former New Edition member from his ex-wife.
He then referenced a Tina Turner impersonation and said his daughter loved him.
‘Tina Turner thing is amazing. My daughter used to dress like Tina Turner and run around the house doing all of Tina Turner’s dances. Nobody could’ve known that,’ Brown said as he wiped tears away.
