‘I’ve been talking about being a sexual assault survivor for over two decades now,’ said the beauty.
‘For 20 years, I’ve been trying to tell my story as honestly as possible, with the goal of never having to hear “me too” ever again.’
The Being Mary Jane star continued: ‘When I realized that hundreds of men and women were talking about being part of this unfortunate club, it just rips your heart out.
The Me Too hashtag was launched by actress Alyssa Milano in the wake of the sexual assault and harassment allegations facing Hollywood producer Harvey Weinstein, who was fired by the company he co-founded on October 8.
Many Hollywood actresses have come forward to say ‘Me Too’ including Debra Messing, Rosario Dawson, America Ferrera and Lady Gaga.
