Kim Kardashian has felt the wrath of Rihanna fans after they accused her of stealing the singer’s design for her pink fluffy children’s sliders.
Kardashian showcased the shoes from her The Kids Supply x AKID collaboration on Twitter, but users were quick to highlight the apparent similarities to Rihanna’s Fenty x Puma sliders.
The reality TV star shared a picture of the product, which retails at £36 ($48), alongside the caption: “Another Akid collab with nude faux fur slides.”
Her account was inundated with pictures of Rihanna’s shoes, with one user posting: “Kim…nah. Riri already has the fluffy slide-on game on lock. And she’s about to kick you out the make up game lol.”
Another tweeted: “Rihanna collaborate again with puma? Oh I smell cheap copy.”
Others defended the Keeping Up with the Kardashians star, with one commenting: “Kim’s is a child’s shoe.. Rihanna doesn’t have children’s shoes. She also didn’t invent furry slides, she popularised them.”
