Lil Wayne’s daughter Reginae Carter has said that her father is doing ‘fine’ after suffering multiple seizures on Sunday.
Lil Wayne was hospitalised due to his epilepsy, with shows being cancelled due to his illness.
But the Young Money hitmaker’s daughter took to Twitter on Monday to put the minds of his fans at ease.
She wrote: ‘My dad is doing fine everyone! Thanks for the concern you guys are amazing.’
‘Oh yeah… & don’t believe everything you hear,’ the 18-year-old added.
It is not yet confirmed whether Wayne is recovering at the hospital or if he has been released, but thankfully he’s doing much better.
According to TMZ, Wayne – real name Dwayne Michael Carter, Jr – was hospitalised in Chicago after being found unconscious in his Westin hotel room on August 3.
He was then taken to Northwestern Hospital where he reportedly experienced another seizure but it has been reported that the rapper’s team attempted to have him discharged from the hospital on Sunday afternoon so he could go to a show in Vegas.
Doctors advised against this, and also suggested that he avoids flights for the next few days.
The New Orleans native has been hospitalised a number of times due to his epilepsy, and spent a week in intensive care in March 2013 after he was found unconscious following multiple seizures.
